The Bathroom… Done! (Plus Budget)

Plus, naturally, The Before and The After, un-staged and real, no fancy fancy.

The reno schedule was laid bare in minute details by the installer. Which worked amazing.

I will let you enjoy some photos first, instead of talking too much. ;)

Project demolition.

The project leader sprayed the walls to guide the workers regarding measurements and locations of things.

Tiles are in!

It took roughly three weeks for my Owners to shower in their living room plus another week for stuff to pile in front of the fireplace. However, this experience had been a good one compared to their previous experience renovating bathroom. First of all, Sanidirect (same bathroom company as the one my Owners used in Almere) used an installation company called Sens Montage (different from the Almere one), and this one was definitely better. The workers almost always arrived on time and the project leader took his job very seriously. Every day there were different people working on different things, based on their specialisation. Previously, one single person did everything by himself (not that it was something wrong, but this way it’s just easier to inspect).

And then, here are the result:

Lady Owner actually travelled to Antwerp, Belgium, to purchase that mirror and brought it back home by train.

Here is The Before again as a reminder.

Bonus pic of the cat on a daily life during The Before.

Budget breakdown:

Total renovation (all included) - 20,843.90 eur

Mirror from Maisons du Monde - 90 eur

Wall lights from Lampenlicht.nl - 19 eur each

Ta-ta!
